Laura Goldstone is many things: a flapper, a comedian, a tiny Italian shoe connoisseur—but more than anything else, she's an Artist. Hailing from the "Raisin Capital of the World" (the San Joaquin Valley, to be precise), she's made her life up and down California and can be found currently nesting in Fresno. Laura relies on a collection of tiny Ticonderogas, watercolors, a woodburner, a large collection of jars filled with, unusual feathers, cotton thread, sewing notions, paper, bones, and doilies as her weapons of choice. She loves exploring on her bikes (one commuter 1972 Raleigh and the other a family heirloom Schwinn Continental), playing with her cats—Megasus and Scout—and sitting at her wisened wooden drafting table.
